The Mary Shelley, Bournemouth

I have to admit I've had some bad Burger experiences in previous Weatherspoons (Chepstow's The Bell Hanger and The V-Shed in Bristol spring to mind) dry, pretty tastless seemed to be the norm for this company.

Not actually realising this was a Weatherspoons Pub my Partner and I popped in for a meal, we both opted for the 'Gourmet Burger' a '100% British Beef Burger' topped with two bacon slices and a Stilton, Shropshire blue & spring onion sauce, pus onion rings and fries.Very tasty it was too, tasted freshly cooked (as it should!) the fries, rings and sauce were all good quality.

The meal was very good value too, we managed to get a special offer of a free drink thrown in for under £7 each, though this was earlier in the year so I can't confirm this offer is still available.

Service was very good and a nice Pub enviroment with a fairly good choice of Beers etc.

Burger 4/5
Roll 4/5
Extras 5/5
Overall 4.5/5
